Xếp ngay sau đàn chị Carrie Underwood với 4 đề cử chính là giọng ca “Over You” Miranda Lambert và Taylor Swift – dẫn đầu các nghệ sỹ nhận 3 đề cử “ôm” trọn vị trí cuối cùng của top 3. Danh sách đề cử của giải thưởng CMT Music Awards 2012 vừa được công bố trên chương trình “Today” sáng 23/4.
Những nghệ sỹ khác cùng dành được 3 đề cử tại giải thưởng thường niên CMT lần thứ 11 là nam ca sỹ Jason Aldean, nhóm nhạc Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, nam ca sỹ Blake Shelton, bộ đôi Thompson Square và The Civil Wars.
Ca khúc “Good Girl” của Carrie Underwood và ca khúc “Remind Me” hợp tác cùng Brad Paisley, ca khúc “Over You” của Miranda Lambert và ca khúc “Safe & Sound” – ca khúc chủ đề bộ phim “The Hunger Games” của Taylor Swift và The Civil Wars là những ca khúc nằm trong số 10 đề cử “Video của năm”. Carrie Underwood còn được đề cử ở các hạng mục: Video nghệ sỹ nữ của năm, Ca khúc trình diễn tốt nhất của năm và Video hợp tác của năm.

Ca khúc “Hell on Hells” với sự kết hợp hoàn hảo giữa Miranda Lambert và hai giọng ca nữ nhóm nhạc Pistol Annies là Angaleena Presley và Ashley Monroe xuất sắc lọt vào danh sách đề cử “Video đột phá của năm”
Những cái tên còn lại trong danh sách đề cử “Video của năm” thuộc về “Dirt Road Anthem” của Jason Aldean, “You and Tequila” của Kenny Chesney và Grace Potter, “Red Solo Cup” của Toby Keith, “We Owned the Night” của Lady Antebellum, “Easy” của Rascal Flatts và Natasha Bedingfield và cuối cùng là “God Gave Me You” của Blake Shelton.
Hệ thống bình chọn tại địa chỉ CMT.com bắt đầu khởi động hôm qua (23/4) và kéo dài đến hết ngày 4/6. Lễ trao giải sẽ chính thức diễn ra vào ngày 6/6 tại Nasvhille, Tennessee, Mỹ.
